When you have finished studying for the day, golf, flying, shooting, tennis, jogging and walking are among the sports available locally, and there are miles of beautiful and uncrowded countryside to explore by bicycle, or in our self-drive car.

This part of Britain has many charming and historic country towns. Shrewsbury, Ludlow and Chester are all within easy reach for shopping and sightseeing. There are also attractive villages with friendly pubs where you can enjoy a drink and practise English.

At weekends, take a trip to the Welsh mountains, lakes and coast, or visit one of the castles, country houses or museums in this fascinating and historic region.
